Who doesn't love crispy,crunchy fried chicken? Im crazy eating fried chicken. Way back home in the philippines every places there's fried chicken store!
Moving here in calgary few years ago, if i wanted some fried chicken either i go for chicken on the way , fritou chicken or le famous fast food chain KFC.
But this time Gene knowing how crazy i am with chicken , he asked me out to see this place in kensington. After our autumn/fall walk at the park( Posted it here! ) ,we headed to kensington to visit wow chicken!
Kensington is a vibrant trendy community with artsy houses, restaurants.
Wow chicken is a Korean chain, but the store has a modern cozy style.
Feels like eating in a restaurant.
They plays k-pop mv too. Im very much entertained ^_^
Cleaned,good size too and the server were nice.
It wasn't that busy yet when we arrived.

So the menu is about chickens, and beer. perfect combination yes.:)
As it wasn't that busy yet,
we didn't have to wait long for our order to arrived.
We ordered half shallot's chicken for $14.49.
It was nicely cook, and well buttered.Its crunchy in a nice way. Well cooked, not burnt.
Freshly cooked which i like. and its not GREASY . The sauce and shallot tasted good with le chicken!They compliment well with each other

The server informed us that it is really spice, and yet yes we go for the spicy one instead for the sweet one! I prefer eating this one with rice.
But with my surprise they don't have rice :-(
I didn't see rice in their menu, But they do have salads and fries.
Wow chicken shall be my favorite fried chicken store in Calgary.
Not salty, the chicken tasted well compare to other that only the outer part has taste.
The ambiance is good, nice place to hang out with friends.
So over all experience we enjoyed it, and yes the two of us finished the chickens.
We basically be back again!
And i shall bring my rice :-)
if they allow it.
