Eventlog: Our 1st Valentines Day together

Spending our First Valentines day together was somehow fancy. We celebrated it on the 15th of Feb, instead on the 14th. The reason was, the restaurant that Gene want was fully booked on that day.
Gene made a reservation for two at LeVilla Chophouse . The place was really cozy and romantic.
We got seated as soon as we arrived, despite being quite early!

I am not very good at western food but i enjoyed eating good steak! That day, they offered a Valentines Menu for two. Included was a 3 course meal. As for stater I picked the Lobster bisque. Bisque a french soup of origin, which is really smooth and creamy based of strained broth of crustaceans. The bisque was served warm and was indeed really tasty. That i can taste the lobster in it!  For our main course, We got to share their Rib chop for  2, served in a huge chopping board like plate. It comes with cognac cream & pink peppercorn sauce, sour cream & chives, baby reds, asparagus & sauteed kale. I swear the serving was really good, the meat was made perfectly and it was soft, tasty and juicy! Even the vegies was tasty, even ate most of them.

Top-bottom ( Lobster bisque, chocolate blueberry cheesecake, rib chop for 2Crème brûlée and  with berries)
The wine is an extra. We Ordered their 6 oz  wine for $12 each,

As for the dessert, Gene picked the Chocolate blueberry cheesecake while mine was the Crème brûlée with berries! We enjoyed the night with some glass of wine too though I am not really a wine person.
The Meal set didn't come with the wine, so we have to order it separately.

We spend almost 2 hours there chilling and talking about some future plans. The restaurant served really good food best meat i ever eat , though for sure I wont be eating them soon as they're quite pricey. The service was good too everyone was attentive and nice.  Gene ended up paying $130 for our meal :-p thank you for feeding me again

After our dinner we went to stroll around 17th ave as it wasn't  that cold that night and walking along 17th ave on a chilly weather seems romantic. We came across this fancy bakery while walking and went in to grab some take-out treats.

They have nice interior and fun ambiance. They offer bake treats and cafe too.
All of them where appetizing. We get a cup of coffee and some French macaroons for $2.50/each.
This macaroons were made nicely and can feel the sophistication in them! *lol*  My most favorite one was the red one the filling isnt to sweet and is fruity. The green one is green tea and white are vanilla and the brown one was filled with caramel and is the sweetest of all.
One of the best macaroon I tasted and has been my favorite!Be definitely be back here and probably make another review of the place.
