TRAVELOG : BAGUIO CITY DAY 2

The next day we decided to have breakfast at pancake house.

Our first stop after having breakfast was the Mines view park.

Mines view park have this colored pink horse. You can ride and take photo with the horse for 10php.

Mines view park is famous as it offers a nice panoramic view of the benguet mines and surrounding mountain.

Pasalubong store were available which offer lots of native goods.

After spending some time here we head out to get some products at the good sheperd convent.
Its not that far from mines view park, we bought some jams, coffee beans, and organic honey.

Next stop was the mansion and wright park.

Had to climb this long stairs called the wright park stairway to reach the pool of pines.

The pool of pines in wright park is a long shallow body of water. straight ahead is the mansion.

Its very relaxing to walk around the place and have picnic. Tall pine trees, sunflowers and birds chirping.

After spending some time here we went to the botanical garden hoping to see some flowers.

The Baguio botanical garden has nice landscape , pagoda, mini bridge and mini cave mine.

The cave mine i was talking about. Its a bit dark and creepy inside when going there alone . Me and gene made some funny creepy noise . We can hear some people screaming  just like some horror films :-p

Our driver that day. Manong sefe waiting for us outside. He is quite informative as he's been coming to Baguio frequently. He then said to go to Burnham park.

Burnham park is located in the heart of the city. The park is said to be favourite among locals and tourist as it offers lots of activities from boating, biking, playground and skating.

And for some reason fogs came and the temperature went cooler. :-)
I was thinking of those horror games :-)

As we got tired boating. Gene and I decided to rent a bike. We picked the couple bike.

I've been wanting to try this one with special someone like one of those korean drama :-P

At first I was kinda bit hesitant and scared to try it as i am not a good biker. I can only go straight ,but then I decided to trust Gene that everything will be ok.

The bike activity we did was one of the memorable thing we did. It felt like we can conquer something as long as we trust and believe with each other.
