The Banff Springs Hotel is a luxury hotel that was built during the 19th century as one of Canada's grand railway hotels, being constructed in Scottish Baronial style and located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. This is our second time staying in the fairmont banff spring, the only difference this time was we stayed at their gold room which is located in the 5th floor. The Gold room has their own concierge and comes with the use of the lounge which offer some refreshment, snacks and light meal for breakfast.
I did'nt get so much shots for our room. The room was clean, smell nice although for me a bit smaller compare to the other fairmont hotel we stayed.
Our room though has the best view I've been. Who can resist looking at this. It;s the frozen bow river and the wonderful rocky mountain.
Being the fairmont banff spring a castle hotel it is a UNESCO heritage preserved too. Doing so the hotel has some nice design really living in the castle. We did not even leave the hotel for our 3 day stayed. The hotel offer alot of indoor and outdoor activites. From bowling, table tennis , indoor and outdoor heated pool. They also have some boutique stores inside the hotel itself.
As for the restaurant which I totally forgot to take shots of the food, all was very good. I never had served bad food while staying in fairmont hotel! That is why we love fairmont so much that we make sure we stayed once a year for staycation.
I did managed to take photos though for our afternoon tea they offer. Held in the rundle lounge, they took seriously England's most beloved afternoon ritual, by offering the finest loose leaf tea that comes with assortment of Victorian scones , finger sandwiches and more.
A Castle experience wont be complete without doing the the afternoon tea for $55.
For f.i.y. dress code is casual.
Overall by far Fairmont Banff spring is my favourite of all Fairmont hotel we stayed. From the professional friendly staff, food, rooms and overall feels. See you in my next post then.
