Baler is the capital of aurora province. It is now slowly making its name as one of the Philippines surfing site! Being in Nueva ecija make it easier for us to visit baler, as it only took us almost around 3 hours to get there. Some of the road isn't very well developed yet so it is a bit bumpy and dusty.
But no worries as you'll see lots of interesting stuff and a nice view!If you see what i mean of unusual interesting stuff ! :-p . It was not sunny that day and was mostly cloudy , We chose to stay in Sabang beach , It has fine gray sand and a wide open coast. It may not have a white sand but the beach itself feels relaxing especially hearing the sound of waves. It was on the weekend so the place has lots of people ,but because of the long stretch it offer, it doesn't feel crowded at all and the place is'nt commercialize yet so make sure to bring food.
Local kids playing and having fun and also some people learning to surf. |
The waves got stronger around afternoon and strong and so we were all requested to came out of the water.
Huge waves! |
The sand feels nice while soaking my feet. The seashore was clean i could tell as it does not feel slimy nor itchy. |
Growing up surrounded with waters made me feel at home once again! I just love the sea breeze and blue waters. The view I had from the cottage was simply amazing.

Before going back home we passed by at this old tree in aurora , called the millennium tree.
If you look closely at a tree you'll notice it's knots and dead branches, just like our bodies. What we learn is that beauty and imperfection go together wonderfully.
