travelog: Manila ocean park

Manila ocean park is a midsize oceanarium found in manila. It's not so far from the place we are staying so we decided to have a visit. It was warm, sunny and busy day. Lots of school kids having their field trip. We got the deep sea rush 5 package costed us 550php each.

Our face while waiting for the out door sea lion show.

The sea lion show was adorable and lasted almost 30 min. if i remember it correctly. The show was also very informative and we had learned some info about sea lion. :-)
I had always thought that sealion can only be found in cold area. I was wrong :-p
South american sea lion!

The ceiling inside manila ocean park. Very well decorated for the holiday season.

Aquarium filled with tropical fish :-)
Some of the aquarium are overly filled with fish which is a bit crowded and unhealthy for the fishes. They need space to swim around.
Some fish tank were also almost empty.

Some photo i took while wandering around.

Gene inside the so called 25m walk way. This is my favorite place, so cool to see fish all over it's like walking underwater.

This is how the walk way supposed to look like. I was not able to take good photos of it, due to people around the area.

gene cant stop taking photos with this fish ! I believe they had known each other in their past life.*perhaps*

Some sharks

and a quite a bit long kind of fish!

Slippers day out for both of us ! :-P Havaianas slipper indeed is comfy.

Fooling around the manila ocean park souvenir area!

*slap me with fish*Lol

And so minions! Adorable minions inside manila ocean park!
We were supposed to go inside the jelly fish and watch the night show symphony event but for some reason we decided to opted it out as we are meeting Gene's cousin later.

We were quite exhausted from the intense heat as our body was still adjusting back to the warm climate Philippines has to offer.

So while in manila, visiting manila ocean park is worth the money to visit especially the sea lion show, despite some of the tank half full. It's not that far from MOA too which was really convenient for us.

  1. Waaaa. How I want to go there. I've been to Manila countless of times and had that same plan but never got the chance to do so because of one demotivating thing only, And that's die-hard traffic. :'(

    Glad you enjoyed your travel.
