So my very first post is about our adventure together (me and gene) out of the town of Calgary.
Im gonna try to make this post as short as i can.
I am so excited for this is our first trip together.I appreciated the fact that gene comes with me and paid le airfares as its my first time going to vacnouver.

So we fly out out of calgary on friday night going to vancouver.
We stayed at gene’s mom’s bestfriend for the whole trip.

For our very first stop, early morning of saturday, i got hungry so we went to visit a fastfood chain famous in the philipines which is goldilocks. We dont have it back in calgary so this must be tried.
After we ate lunch we decided to go to the PNE fair. On our way there we got lost and ended up hopping the wrong bus. So it took us hrs to get to the fair.

we tried some rides and had so much fun. Unfortunately we were'nt able to visit the Game of thrones event in PNE because it is full already.
We ended our saturday with a dinner with Gene’s family friends.
We went to surrey and ate at a japanese restaurant.

On our 2nd day in vancouver,we decided to go to the vancouver aquarium. We woke up early and rush there.
The aquarium isnt that big as what we expected to be, but its ok. As long as we are together.
The aquarium is located in the famous stanley park. We follow the path going to the aquarium which is a 5-10min. walk from the bus stop.

After we went to the aquarium we ended up visiting a famous Gelato place called la casa gelatto.
It was a bit far but they have 200+ of available flavour to choose from!
Now this gelato taste good, its smooth and not so sweet. Gene always make me try new stuff :p

coz we still had some more time left before the nightmarket in richmond open, we decided to go have a walk around the telus science world.

We spend some hrs before we head to the richmond night market,which happen every summer in vancouver.
The richmond night market has alot of things to offer and lots of food stands to choose from.

Tried lots of food at the PNE fair.Mostly seafood (Squid,scallop,shrimp)
As soon as it got darker, PNE fair got more busier.We basically spend the whole sunday out being our last night to be in vancouver!
We went home after as i still got to visit the consulate tomorrow morning.

And so here it is, monday our last day in vancouver.
Before we went for my appointment, we ate brunch at this restaurant called twisted fork in downtown vancouver.

Sorry for not so good quality phots. Ended up using my phone.We had some egg Benedict and homemade sausage for breakfast!

Just right after we ate brunch,we went for my appointment which didn't last an hr, so once again we got extra time.
Gene wanna visit this Belgian waffle restaurant called cafe medina.
We went there and a big lined up was there, so we put our name on the waitlist and waited for minutes .
It was totally worthy , the waffle was best waffle i had tried ever. As well as the raspberry latte gene had.
For the price it was also really cheap. Paid a total of $20 for two coffee and 3 waffles with a maple on the side.
The waffle was freshly made, and its soft and crunchy at the same time!

After eating at cafe medina,we decided to go get our luggage and go to the airport as we are already tired from all the walking we did since saturday.
Gene’s tired after a whole day walk, dragging our luggage and me ;-p
overall it was a sweet and fun new experience. The most fun part was to share this new experience with the person i care and love most.
