I was sick for a week with a sore throat and cough, so Gene and me went to pick up my prescription near our place. Due to some c-train maintenance and me not fully recovered, we decided to stroll around nearby places. We had lunch at a restaurant near my place called A lady bug cafe located 2132-10 Aspen Stone Blvd SW, Calgary.
Lady bug cafe used organic natural ingredients from local suppliers.Quite pricey but its good!
Gene was starring at some pretty girls:-p
no actually starring at the waffles and crepe from nearby customer!It was a bit of a wait for our order to come coz the restaurant was pack with hungry human being.
So we ordered some tea and had the same brunch, which is egg Benedict with ham.
The Egg benedict has some distinct nice taste. It has some mild sour nice taste. The ham is'nt salty which is a plus.The side hash brown potato was crunchy and tasty too.
The matcha tea was warm and mild compare to other matcha tea i had!
Perhaps because i ordered 1% milk in it.
But over all i enjoyed my Sunday brunch!
I'm definitely gonna go back here and try their desserts and waffles!

After our lady bug cafe adventure,we went to watch a movie at the eu clair mall .
Magic in the moonlight. I did enjoy the movie alot, it's less drama , lots of fun, nicely shot, feels like travelling from the 1940's, a bit of romantic and also some clever mystery.
But had to admit i fell asleep during the end part coz the medicine kick's in!
so after the movie Gene brought me to a hot pot restaurant in Calgary china town.
Im not a so fan of hotpot, but Gene gladly taught me how it works:p
The place was also pack luckly theres still a table for two.
We ordered some meat(chicken and beef), our fave Fishballs,shrimp balls ,some shrimp, squid,and a slice of *SPAM* Gene's spam!
Gene has the satay hk style broth, while i got the simple beef broth.
